Who we are
SucksHosting ("we") runs this site and the Minecraft servers attached to it. The registered company details are on the imprint. For anything privacy related, write to privacy@suckshosting.example.
What we collect
- Account email address. Received from SucksHosting ID when you sign in. We never receive your password.
- Server data you upload. Worlds, configs, plugins and backups — they live on the node so your server can run.
- Panel logs. Login times, IP address and actions in the panel, kept to investigate abuse and outages.
- Email you send us. Support and abuse correspondence, kept while the case is open.
We do not collect payment data (nothing is charged yet), and we do not buy contact lists or run advertising trackers.
Why we process it
- To create and run the server you asked for.
- To keep the node secure and investigate abuse.
- To answer your email.
- To meet legal obligations if a lawful request arrives.
Cookies
The cookie banner on the homepage offers two choices, and both are honest about what they do:
| Type | What it does |
|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keeps your session alive after sign-in. Cannot be switched off without breaking the panel. |
| Optional analytics | Aggregated page counts so we know which docs pages are useless. Off unless you choose "Accept all". |
Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage under sh.cookie-consent.
Clear site data to reset it, or reopen the banner via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
How long we keep it
- Account data: while the account exists, then deleted on request.
- Server files: deleted when the server is deleted, including its backup slot.
- Panel logs: a limited rolling window, kept short unless a case is open.
- Support email: until the case is closed, then archived briefly and removed.
Sharing
We share data with the identity provider that signs you in, and with the datacenter that hosts the node — nothing else. We do not sell data, and there is no advertising network on this site.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask for a copy of your data, correction, deletion, or a restriction on processing. Email us and we'll answer with what we can do and what the law requires us to keep.
Contact
privacy@suckshosting.example — one person reads it. If you're unhappy with the answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
This policy is a starting point for a small host, not legal advice. Have it reviewed before you take real signups.
