Free Minecraft server · 1.5 GB RAM

Minecraft hosting
that doesn't suck.

A free Java & Bedrock server with 1.5 GB of RAM, a control panel that actually works and no card required. We run one node — so we're not going to pretend we have thirty-eight regions.

Platform

Built for vanilla, modded and everything between.

One node, one honest spec sheet. Everything below is included on the free server — there is no premium tier hiding the useful parts.

Paper, Fabric, Forge

Pick your loader when you claim the server, swap it later from the panel. Vanilla not your thing? Install a modpack and reboot.

Your files, your panel

SFTP, a real file manager and a live console. Editing server.properties shouldn't require a support ticket and a two-hour wait.

Backups before you break it

One-click world backups from the panel — because every update looks safe at 2am, and every rollback is more fun than a corrupted world.

Paid tiers are still being sized.

We're not inventing launch prices. The free tier is live today at 1.5 GB; paid plans open once we've measured what the hardware actually costs.

Questions

The honest answers.

Still stuck? Write to hello@suckshosting.example and a human replies.

Is the free Minecraft server really free?

Yes — 1.5 GB of RAM, no card, no trial countdown. The honest catch is capacity: there is one node, so the number of free servers is limited and shared fairly. When it's full, it is full, and we'll say so.

How many players fit in 1.5 GB?

A small vanilla survival world or a handful of friends. Modpacks and big public SMPs want more memory than that — which is exactly what the paid tiers are being sized for.

Java, Bedrock, or both?

Choose one edition when you claim the server. If you change your mind, reinstall the other edition from the panel — your world files stay yours to download first.

Can I install plugins and mods?

Yes. Paper, Fabric and Forge loaders are selectable at setup, and you can upload packs over SFTP or the file manager. No "premium" toggle for basic server software.

What will the paid plans cost?

We haven't decided. Prices will be published before launch, based on what the hardware actually costs to run — no fake "50% off" countdown to make a number look good.

Where is the server located?

One node, one location. When we add hardware we'll publish it; until then there is no region dropdown pretending to be a global network.
