SucksHosting

Company

A small host, run by people who play.

SucksHosting started because every "free Minecraft server" we tried turned out to be a countdown, a queue or a sales funnel. So we built the opposite: one node, honest specs and a free tier that stays free.

One node · 1.5 GB free · still here

Why we exist

Renting a Minecraft server should take less time than installing the game. Ours does: pick an edition, sign in, get an address. No checkout maze, no "talk to sales" for a firewall rule.

The free tier is deliberately small — 1.5 GB of RAM — and deliberately permanent. It is sized for a survival world with friends, not for a 200-player network. We'd rather say that out loud than hand you a trial that dies in a month.

How we work

Three rules shape everything on this site:

  • No invented numbers. One node means one node. No region dropdown, no uptime badge we can't back up.
  • The panel isn't a paywall. SFTP, file manager, console and backups ship with the free server.
  • Say the boring part. Capacity is limited and shared fairly. When it's full, we say so.
